Hello,

My parents have lost their original remote control => I’m trying to install a universal model for them. But when the device is turned on, an error message appears: “new services found. Do you want to perform an automatic scan? Yes-no”

At the same time, it’s no longer possible to change the channels from the device. Only one channel displays despite pressing the buttons.

Obviously, this blocks the installation of the new universal remote…

Do you know how to sort out such a mess? There are hardly any repairers left who deal with these old devices, but they care about it… I would really like to help them save it for one last stretch.

    Hello,

    This very old television (1997) has not been able to decode the standard for TNT broadcasting in MPEG4 since April 2016.

    It is therefore unable to display anything except with an external decoder with a SCART socket (I assume that this type of socket is the only one that exists on this television).

    Very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
    Especially when it isn’t there...
