Karaoke on ONKYO TX-NR686 home theater amplifier

Hello,
After doing quite a bit of research online and in this forum, I can't find a reliable answer to my question.
I have an Android TV with YouTube on which I can select karaoke songs, so I would like to know what I need and how to connect it to my TX-NR686 to be able to do karaoke.
I've read a lot of different opinions: not possible with this amplifier, need a mixing table, need a powered speaker, etc.
I can't believe that karaoke can't be done with an amplifier of this range. Of course, I would like to be able to adjust the sound of the microphones relative to the music from the TV, which may complicate things...
Could you please tell me what to buy and how to connect it?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Jean

To do karaoke using your ONKYO TX-NR686 home theater amplifier, you will need a few additional elements. You will need a mixer that will allow you to manage the volume of the microphones and the audio coming from YouTube, as well as two microphones (or more if you wish).
Here's how to make the connection:
1. Connect your Android TV to your ONKYO TX-NR686 amplifier via an HDMI cable. This allows you to transmit the sound of the music from YouTube to your amplifier.
2. Connect the mixer to your amplifier. Most mixers connect via an RCA to 3.5mm cable, but make sure to check the outputs of the mixer and the inputs of the amplifier before purchasing the right cable.
3. Plug your microphones into the mixer.
Once everything is set up, you will be able to play karaoke songs on YouTube through your Android TV, and the sound will be sent to the amplifier. The microphones' sound will go through the mixer, allowing you to adjust their volumes independently of the music volume.
However, be aware that home theater amplifiers are not designed for karaoke. They are useful for adding voices to music, but there is no built-in vocal cancellation feature. The sound will not be as perfect as with a dedicated karaoke system, but it will still be doable.
Hello,
My TV is already connected to my home theater amplifier,
there are kits with 2 microphones and a small "preamplifier" that can adjust the sound of the microphones
Instead of connecting a mixing console to the home theater, we should be able to connect this small preamplifier that comes with the microphones, it should work the same way I think ??
like this this
The key is to know where to connect this on the home theater?
Thank you in advance
