Format a business PC

Hello,
Upon leaving the company where I worked under bad terms, I was allowed to keep the desktop computer I was using.
However, I would like to format it to delete all work-related files, but my question is, "If I format this company desktop for personal use, will all data be deleted and can they access my last connections as well as my location?”
In short, does my computer still have any link to the company?

Good evening,
Formatting erases all data present on the targeted volume (it should therefore be done on all defined volumes on the hard drives, using a full option rather than a quick one).
Since the erasure includes network communication profiles, I do not see how, unless illegal intrusion software has been installed at your home on another computer, an employer could take control of the devices on your home network.
That said, NASA, the CIA, and military nuclear fuel production plants, as well as our hospitals, are hacked.
Furthermore, if the hard drive can be recycled, many companies protect access to the BIOS with passwords that can only be removed by the PC administrator, this access allowing the use of the PC and notably the installation of a personal operating system.
