I would like to understand why in my list of contacts on a profile it says "friend accepted" and when I click it, it says the account cannot be found, and in quick add there is no longer a search bar, but I can still see it in my contacts. Could he have blocked me right after sending a request even though it says "friend accepted"? I can message him in the chat, but I don't know if it will be sent, and I don't want to test it as it's on my public profile.

Regarding the quick add problem, usually, when you type in the name or username of a person, they should show up. If they do not appear, it could be due to several reasons: either this person has blocked you, or they have disabled the "Allow people to find me by my username" option in their privacy settings, or you have misspelled their username.
Finally, if you can still write to them in the chat, it means you are still friends on Snapchat. Conversely, if you are no longer friends or you have been blocked, a message will inform you. If you do not receive this message, it means your message has been sent successfully.
