Samsung Z Flip 4 turns off when I fold it.
Tinoon -
Good evening,
Since yesterday, my Galaxy Z Flip 4 turns off when I close it.
Having read on various forums that it was a recurring issue in previous generations, I tried several manipulations that sometimes worked temporarily for others, but did nothing on my end - clearing the cache, keeping it plugged in, testing all the phone's features, restarting in safe mode, etc... Nothing works.
If a kind person has found the solution, if such a thing exists, I would be very grateful.
Thank you in advance!
Bob.

Good evening,
No miracle apparently...
Members_PSQAbMG Apprentice Options on 11-01-2023 11:22 AM Hello... Same problem on 2 Z flip devices, mine and my wife's. For the first one, customer service took care of the battery and screen replacement. For the second one, even though the problem is the same, warranty repair was denied because the phone has small scratches, which are completely unrelated to the issue encountered. I am being asked for €350 for the repair... This is a real design problem with this model, but given the number of affected individuals and the cost, Samsung's customer service is looking for any excuse to charge for this repair. In summary, a premium phone costing over €1000 needs to be replaced after 12 months. I am extremely disappointed with the quality, and even more so with the dishonesty of Samsung's customer service. I have been a Samsung customer for 10 years, but that’s over. My advice, steer clear of this brand whose customer service has become a disgrace. “Is progress beautiful? Tomorrow, when we give a book to a kid, he will turn it every which way to see where to put the batteries.”

Thank you, but I had already read your negative review this morning.
And since the Flip 2, they don't think it's necessary to make the appropriate changes? Unacceptable indeed!
