Why can't I delete emails on Mac?

Hello,

I can't delete emails that are "stuck" in my Mail inbox on the "Mail" app on Mac (macOS 12.4). I can't drag them to my trash. An error message appears:

" The message ...." could not be moved to the "personal mail" mailbox

Followed by:

- The specified object was not found in the store

- The process failed to get the correct properties

    Hello,

    I suggest you try this:

    • select the folder that contains the problematic email(s)

    • open the "Mailbox" menu in the menu bar

    • choose the "Rebuild" option
