Choppy sound on my Twitch live stream from my Xbox Series
SolvedHello,
It's been about 2 months since I started streaming from my Xbox on Twitch and I have a big problem that I can't seem to fix. When I start a stream, sometimes the sound gets choppy on the live feed. At first, I thought it was my connection, but after connecting via cable, the problem persists, and after several tests, the connection is stable and sufficient, so it's not coming from there. I don't know what to do to solve this problem. Do you have any ideas or solutions? Thank you.

Hello or good evening
The problem comes from the February update on Xbox Series, it has nothing to do with the settings.

It is possible that the choppy sound issue you are experiencing while streaming on Twitch is due to a number of different factors. Here are some suggestions you can try to resolve this issue:
-
Check your Xbox settings: Make sure your Xbox audio settings are correctly configured. Go to Settings > Display and Sound > Audio Output to verify that the settings are configured for your desired audio (for example, "Uncompressed Stereo").
-
Check your Internet connection: Even though you have already checked your Internet connection, it is possible that temporary or intermittent disturbances could be affecting your audio stream. You can try restarting your router or using a wired connection instead of Wi-Fi to improve stability.
-
Check your streaming software settings: Ensure that the audio settings of your streaming software are configured correctly. Make sure the audio source is correctly selected and that the encoding settings are correct.
-
Use a headset or external microphone: If you are using a headset or external microphone, ensure that the device is correctly set up and connected. If you are having issues with your microphone, you can try switching microphones or using an external microphone to improve audio quality.
-
Contact Twitch support: If you have tried everything and the problem persists, it is possible that the issue is related to Twitch itself. You can contact Twitch support for further assistance and advice.
Hoping that these suggestions will help you resolve your choppy sound issue while streaming on Twitch.
