Hors de la mémoire vidéo, impossible d'allouer une ressource de rendu.
SolvedHello and thank you for taking the time to help me,
I just wanted to play a game and when I launch it, my PC crashes/freezes/reboots.
The following message appears: "Out of video memory trying to allocate a rendering resource"
Of course, I have looked at forums discussing this issue, but never in this exact form. That is to say: I far exceed the requirements to play this game, but I know that most of the games I launch have this problem of not automatically defining my graphic quality. Could this be related(?).
Hoping to get some help, I remain reachable on Discord (more efficient) removed by CCM moderation, assistance must be done on the forum (see the site's guidelines)

Hello
Thank you for providing the hardware configuration of the PC, the version of Windows, and which game is involved.

Thank you for stopping by,
I have:
RTX 3080 ti suprim x from MSI 12go
i9 12900kf (with the uhd770 graphics part)
Liquid cooling for the processor and a fan for the GPU
1200w platinum power supply
1TB nvme SSD
32g ram ddr5 4800

That's why I don't understand the out of video memory error, I have 12go and I'm running Cyberpunk at over 200 fps with ray tracing and everything even in 4k
Thank you for your response

The i9 12900kf does not have integrated graphics.
If I understand correctly, the crashing game is the only one, right? Is it not too old? This message does not come from the graphics card but from the BIOS; it refers to the computer's main memory and not that of the 3080.

The game in question is Hogwarts Legacy, and I must have made a mistake, it must be the K, because I know that I have the integrated graphics part (I can see the GPU on my devices).
Central memory that is to say my RAM? I know that I didn't go for a brand, I have Kingston 4800 two 16 GB sticks.

Unfortunately, no official games are available for pre-order. I'm so disappointed, but is there really no way for my real one to be properly detected?

And likewise, I bought a W11 key while building the PC.

You're talking about the 3080... well, if you have a disappointing display and the drivers install without error... then everything is correct.
By any chance, does your motherboard have several PCI Express ports? Did you make sure to take the one reserved for the graphics card (the one closest to the processor)?

Are we agreed that the reinstallation is done via GeForce or on the Nvidia driver (official site)?
Yes, the first port closest to my CPU; I noticed that the latch to secure my GPU was broken, but it latches properly.
What I can't explain is that my GPU works perfectly and the game crashes at the same spot, which is during loading shaders and other textures.
I hope this is a problem with the game.
