Improve Freebox Pop Fiber speed too slow + access Freebox OS

Here's how I drastically improved my fiber Wi-Fi connection: I changed the channel using Freebox OS.

Accessing Freebox OS

1. Connect to Freebox OS: http://mafreebox.freebox.fr/

2. The icons are grayed out because you are in guest mode. You need to create a password. Make sure you are connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the box.

For a first connection, click on the Free logo at the bottom left of the page, then on login.

3. A dialog box will appear where you need to enter your password. Since this is your first connection, you don’t have a password, so you need to click on "I lost my password".

4. A prompt will ask you to press a button on your Freebox Pop unit to accept the password change.

5. Once done, enter the new password on your PC.

6. Now you have access to the Freebox OS menu.

Changing the channel

1. Double-click on Freebox Settings

2. Click on Wi-Fi.

3. Click on the Radio Configuration tab.

4. In Primary Channel, there is a dropdown menu. By default, the primary channel is set to automatic channel. Select the channel of your choice.

5. Test your connection on Sp*edtest, for example.

Note: feel free to test several different channels to find the one that seems the fastest to you.

Well, I found the solution by myself.

I managed to connect to Freebox OS and change the channel.

Now I have super fast speed!!!
