  1. Hello

The card you propose as an example is not in HTML...

But you can take a look at this website https://www.pierre-giraud.com/creer-carte-interactive-html/

You will see that it's a lot of work!!

It’s a lot of work IF you code by hand; some "WYSIWYG" tools make it easier, allowing you to divide into sections and then generating the corresponding code to integrate it into the page.
Adobe tools do this, and I suppose there must be others as well.

      1. Hello, Adobe tools do it very poorly from memory. It's not the role of Photoshop, which is a graphic editor, to create HTML and this one is not usable. Even with Word you can generate HTML, that doesn't mean it's desirable ;)

As for WYSIWYG, it's not a valid solution for the same reasons: a web page is not just visual, rather the opposite (hypertext, semantics, data layers....).

Without "coding," there are rather CMSs and their modules.

The question remains to clearly define the need: should the map be linked to a database? The work ranges from simple to complex, but for the display part, it remains accessible without programming like this for example:

    2. Hello

Here is a "free" method with GIMP -> https://www.copier-coller.com/carte-cliquable/

      1. Thank you all for your responses.

I managed to create the desired map in HTML code with an SVG image by following this tutorial:

        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZs8l50gxjU

        And by downloading this map:

        https://www.amcharts.com/svg-maps/?map=franceDepartments

As someone who doesn't master coding, it took me a little over 2 hours (I thought I would struggle more than that!) so the tutorial is quite well done. ☺
