Upgrade to Ryzen 5800x on a B450 TUF Gaming a good idea?

Hi,
I've had a Ryzen 3600 with a Chinese AIO water cooler that has a TDP exceeding 320 watts (6 push/pull fans on the radiator) for a few years now, along with an Asus Tuf B450 gaming motherboard and 32GB of 3200MHz RAM.
I didn't buy it out of desire but out of necessity (less than €300 new at the time (without the RAM).
This winter, I got a Gainward Phoenix RTX 3070.
As a result, even if it doesn't necessarily show, the PC is GPU bottlenecking, not by much, but still.
Since the price of Ryzen 5800x has dropped significantly, I'm considering getting one to replace the little 3600.
Is this a good idea, or is the cost to performance gain not significant enough (Ryzen 5800x = +/- €200 + €12 for a tube of thermal paste)?
Usage: video games / file compression and sharing / image processing / video encoding / 3D animation streaming and C++ / C# coding

Hi
Be careful, there are a lot of issues with the B450 chipset and the 5xxx series. Although often advertised as compatible by motherboard manufacturers, that's not always the case...
And even if it works, you should know that your GPU will be limited to PCI Express 3.0 because of the B450 chipset... the 5xxxx series doesn't like that either...
