EZVIZ (C3N C6N) - How to delete recordings Solved

Question

Hello,  Configuration: Windows / Firefox 100.0  I installed 2 EZVIZ cameras a few days ago. I do not use the cloud, but MicroSD cards: SanDisk microSD EXT PLUS 128 GB.  Problem Whether through the smartphone app or the "EZVIZ Studio" software on Windows, I have no way to delete recordings.  WARNING! I am not talking about the events created in the library (motion detection events, offline cameras, etc...). I can successfully delete the desired entries created in the library.  I am referring to the video files stored on the microSD card (not in the cloud that I do not use).  For now, the only solution found is to reformat the microSD card. Not at all practical as I first have to retrieve (download) on the smartphone or PC the videos I want to keep, and then destroy everything on the card.  Isn't there theoretically an option somewhere that would allow deleting the videos one by one or by a global preselection followed by a delete icon?  I have no icon, no menu... Hello.
There is no other solution than the one you made; it's important to know that the oldest videos are automatically deleted to make room for the most recent ones, which avoids formatting the SD card.

Well, that's already something, but it's not really practical since certain videos can remain important even if they are older than others.
If we don't pay attention to saving the important videos, we risk seeing them deleted due to lack of space on the card.
It's strange not to have given the administrator permission to manage their files directly on the card.

Hello,

I installed C6N cameras. I select a video and the 'delete' option automatically appears. I click on delete and I have the options 'delete this video' or 'delete multiple videos'. I choose the second option and I can either select the videos to erase or a new option 'Erase recordings' which erases all the videos from the camera at once. There you go, I hope this answers your problem unless you have already found the solution.

As far as I'm concerned, when I select a video, the "delete" option does not appear (on my smartphone).

What version are you using? Does this option appear on your smartphone or on your PC?

My bad! The Delete option only appears for videos that are in the cloud. On the microSD card, indeed the Delete option does not appear. They are really terrible at EZVIZ. And when you ask them the question by email at ***@***, they don't even have the courtesy to respond.

For the explanation of the deletion that works on the Cloud and not on the SD card, it's easy!

Since the "Cloud" is billed, it makes sense to delete interesting options on the card to encourage people to purchase "Cloud" storage, right? ;-)
