RstMwService.exe crashes and freezes the PC

Hello,
The RstMwService stops by itself with the error:

I need help to resolve this issue, as it causes me constant freezes.
Additionally, I often encounter error 1603 as with the installation of the graphics driver, which also causes RstMwService.exe to crash.

      Yes,

      and since no one has ever known what it was for, we can always try to disable the corresponding service to see if it changes anything; but the freezes and/or BSODs can also indicate a virus that may have impersonated the executable in question.

      Last updated (version 16.8.4.1011 of July 2021) https://downloadmirror.intel.com/723575/SetupRST.exe
      Personally, I uninstalled it, especially since Intel has discontinued this product as indicated here https://www.intel.fr/content/www/fr/fr/download/15667/intel-rapid-storage-technology-intel-rst-user-interface-and-driver.html
      It states The Intel® Rapid Storage Technology and Intel® Optane™ memory applications have reached end of life.

      If your problem persists and only in that case, do the following so I can have an idea of your configuration:

      Download FRSTsave it to the desktop then right-click on FRST and choose Run as administrator you will see this:
      Click on Scan

      Attention, wait for the messages indicating that the scan is complete



      At the end of the scan you will have two text files on the desktop FRST and Addition

      Then send the FRST and ADDITION reports to CJOINT see THIS TUTORIAL then provide the two links generated by Cjoint in your reply.
