Solved
Hello!
Can anyone simply tell me how to enable the display of the home screen when starting Word (Windows 10)?
Thank you in advance.

  1. Hello
    What do you call the "home screen" in Word??
    Regarding the settings for what appears on startup of Office programs (of which Word is a part), just open Word, go to File menu, at the bottom Options, then General, at the bottom Startup Options...

    Is it resolved? The green button at the top, that's great!

      Good evening.

      Word does not have a welcome screen.

      1. While searching more, I discover that it is the "ribbon" made up of tabs "File," "Home," "Insert," etc.
        When I open Word, I would like the "Home" tab to be automatically displayed;
        I hope I'm making myself understood because computer skills are really not "my cup of tea" when there’s an issue...
        So what can I do?
        When I go to File/Options/General/Options/Startup, I don't find any line related to enabling the "Home" display when opening Word;

          Hello.

          Look to the right of the ribbon:

            Hello,

            If you want to go straight to the blank page of a new document when starting, go to the options: File tab => Options
            Section (on the left): General
            On the right in the startup options, uncheck the option "Show the startup screen when launching this application."
            OK
