Hello,
I took out my little Canon Selphy CP720 photo printer, but it is no longer detected with Windows 10
64-bit.
I went to the Canon website, which seems to say that it's impossible to install a driver for this "too old" model.
Do you have any solution to make it detectable again?
In any case, it's not a brand I would buy again for a photo printer, as it's unusable as soon as a newer version of Windows is released. There must surely be better options.

Hello,
Try this one --> Selphy CP720
Right-click on the driver --> cp720w764.exe
Resolve compatibility issues.

Hello
I did it, I tried several, it seems to work at first but it always stops with the same message:
"the current version of Windows cannot install a printer driver."
Same when using the CD-ROM. -

Argh! I'm going to be ridiculous. It's really embarrassing.
With all the cables on the floor, I thought I had plugged in the right printer cable, but it was another one, so the problem was just that.
Ridiculous.
So it works, I had plugged in the wrong cable but the one for the scanner, which is gray too, but which doesn't light up.
Thanks to those who wanted to help me. I thought that yesterday, when I hadn't made the cable mistake, I had seen the name appear. It's really unfortunate.
Otherwise, it's version 20H2 for Windows 10, I see. -
Windows 10 is not up to date.
To update it to version 21H1:
Download this -->> MediaCreationTool21H1 <<--
Run it
Check --> Upgrade this PC now

I don't really like doing updates because I have a mini-PC with little internal memory, only 64 GB in total.
The Beelink BT3 Pro II, a mini box.
Remaining free space is 25 GB, it might still work.
Because before, I had one with even less internal memory, 32 GB, and at first, the updates went through because they weren't too heavy, then came the super heavy one that took up all the remaining space or even more because it just wouldn't fit. And no way to uninstall.
