Hello,
For the past few weeks, a pop-up window "how do you want to open this document" appears about every 2 minutes on my PC. I've seen that many people have already had this issue, so I came to seek help from qualified individuals. The file in question is a vbs file that I created a few days ago to try to resolve a problem with windows. The next day, every 2 minutes or so, I get asked "how do you want to open this file." I've tried many things but nothing works.
Thank you in advance for your responses!
Best regards.

I tried to install the software that I saw on many forums that solved their problem, but I need help with that because I did not understand it. I also tried to permanently delete the file in question, but that does not work either. I then tried to remove my PC's permission to display this window, still no effect.
I hope this problem has a solution because it's extremely annoying for gaming.
Thank you for your future response.
(the name of the software is FRST)

Hello,
Perform a system restore and choose a date prior to the problem.
Windows + R
Type --> rstrui.exe and OK.

The problem is that the file in question does not exist, I just want to delete it but I have deleted all types of folders related to my issue and when I try to open the folder with (for example) Notepad, Notepad tells me it cannot find this file C:\Users\Machine01\Desktop\1.vbs. and asks me if I want to create the folder.
And I would like to try the system restoration only if no important software or files are deleted.
Thank you for your future response.

I would like to understand this:
What is the folder ?????
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Windows Key + E
Go to --> C:\Users\Machine01\Desktop
Is 1.vbs a folder or a file?

1.vbs is a file excuse me I'm expressing myself poorly, and when I say I’m trying to open the folder (file*) it’s when the window 'how do you want to open this file' opens and I'm trying to open the file (1.vbs) with (for example still notepad) and the folder is nowhere on my PC I completely deleted it that’s why I don’t understand why my computer absolutely wants to open a non-existent file.
Hello,
Did you create a run key or a scheduled task at the same time?
Let's take a look:
All reports must be hosted on https://security-x.fr/up/ and you indicate the obtained links in your response
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
--> The SmartScreen filter may trigger an alert. Click on Actions or More Information, then on Run anyway
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
--> Download the FRST version of Farbar, compatible with your system and save the file to your Desktop
--> For a 32-bit system
--> For a 64-bit system
How to know which 32-bit or 64-bit version is running on my system?
--> Wait for your browser to prompt you to save the download, without clicking anywhere, especially not on the sponsors of the page.
--> Close all applications, including your browser
--> Double-click on FRST.exe and click Yes to accept the Disclaimer
--> Under Vista, Windows 7 / 8 and 10, you need to run the file by right-clicking -> Run as administrator
--> Wait for it to indicate The tool is ready to operate
--> On the main menu, click on Scan and wait for the scan to complete
--> At the end of the scan, the FRST.txt and Addition.txt reports are created. Post these reports in your next response.
--> The reports are saved in the same location as the tool and under C:\FRST\Logs

I think my computer has a serious problem because when I finish the frst analysis, the software tells me that addition.txt and frst.txt are created in the FRST folder, but at the same time my notepad opens by itself twice and tells me the same thing as for my file 1.vbs, which is "we cannot find the folder C:\Users\Machine01\Desktop\additions.txt" and the second notepad tells me it cannot find C:\Users\Machine01\Desktop\frst.txt. I'm giving you the only file located in C:\FRST\logs just in case that might help, but I don't know what to do anymore.

Um, I don't know what you did, but the report you submitted is the link to a patch.
Does your PC name is Machine 01?
If so, where did you get this patch from?
---------------------------
----------------------------------------
You are going to run the analysis in safe mode, make sure to place FRST.exe or FRST64.exe on the DESKTOP to easily find the reports.
=> Press the shift key (the arrow pointing up above ctrl at the bottom left)
=> While holding it down, restart the PC
=> You'll arrive at the startup options, release the shift key
=> Click on Troubleshoot => Advanced options => Startup Settings => Restart
=> The PC restarts, press the 4 or F4 key
=> You will arrive at the desktop in safe mode
=> Launch the FRST analysis and when you have both reports, go back to normal mode and post them

Hello,
Here are the two folders you asked me for and yes machine 01 is the name of my pc.
I think the fix is related to the fact that I had already used frst but since I didn't know how it worked I just pressed fix and then redirected to you.

Certainly, but the fix didn’t create itself; you must have retrieved it from a topic that had nothing to do with your PC?
---------

Is your Windows a legal and activated version? Your PC is indeed infected, this might explain the issue.

No, my computer was given to me by a friend, I don't have a Windows key, is that a problem?
And is there a way to fix it?
And is there a way to fix it?
Format and perform a clean reinstall with an official Windows 10.
Check this --> How to install Windows 10

To follow this tutorial, it says that I need a Windows key if my PC didn't come from a manufacturer (which is the case) but I don't have one. Is there another way to do this or is it the only possible solution?
I've been saying PC from the beginning, but I should say a tower instead. Sorry if that totally changes the situation.

As Kaneagle said, whom I salute, the simplest thing is to do a clean installation
You have very cheap license keys => https://fr.shopping.rakuten.com/s/licence+windows+10
Moreover, in the reports, we can see that Windows Defender is also messed up, so not sure we can get your Windows back on track?
You can easily download the ISO to create your USB key => https://www.malekal.com/telecharger-iso-windows-10-gratuitement-iso/

Very well, but can I trust this site 100% because for me a Windows key at €5 is still quite suspicious, especially since the comments seem to be created by bots (no human says "thanks for the announcement ¿¿ ¿¿"). I will check other sites just in case because this one doesn't inspire me with much confidence. Thank you nonetheless for your help, I will come back to you if I have a problem. Thank you very much and have a good day!
Hello,
I've already bought several keys without any problems.
Moreover, Rakuten only pays the seller after the buyer's validation, so if there’s the slightest issue, if the seller doesn’t provide a solution, you can open a claim, and for 5 euros, you’re not at risk.
When you bought the key, the simplest method is to install Windows 10 without internet and indicate that you don’t have a key.
Once installed and on the desktop, you reconnect to the internet and activate it with the purchased key.
Make sure to install Windows according to the key you’re buying (Pro/Home).
