How to recover files ignored by Recuva?

Hello,
I'm trying to recover data from my external hard drive using Recuva. It finds a lot of files but ignores about 3/4 of them. In fact, it's the ignored files that I'm interested in. How can I get them?

you can try with " Puran-file-recovery "
but as @Madmyke said, whom I greet
if the data has been overwritten by new writing, it's dead

Recuva and similar tools are not "magic"; they allow you to recover what is recoverable.
It's the very principle of a hard drive that needs to be understood.
Therefore, if the files are technically overwritten, they are no longer recoverable.
