HDMI not showing on my WALTHAM TV

Hello, I have a laptop with a broken screen and I was hoping to connect it via HDMI to my WALTHAM model WL 1962B 12V TV, but unfortunately the HDMI doesn't show up at all. I tried it on another television at a neighbor's house and it worked as expected. I think my TV has a problem, can you please help me?

    Hello again, I found my problem and I'm answering my own request for help to assist others.
    You need to go to settings, then to sources, and you have to activate the HDMI.
