Listen to music with a USB drive in a car

I have a 2019 Seat Leon; There are 2 USB ports: it detects my USB stick with music (well formatted in FAT32) but doesn't play music
it's probably a port for phone or GPS
but can I use it to listen to music

You need to read the car's manual... to find out what types of music files are played by this car radio... probably MP3, but it could also be something else..?
Then you need to know if this USB port is actually made for that and not for garage diagnostics or updates..??
You also need to know what to choose in the menus to make it work...
But anyway, I don't have all the car models to try..
