Connecting a vinyl turntable with a preamp to Mackie CR4 speakers.

Bonjour,
As a complete beginner, I own a DENON DP 300 F turntable with a RIAA preamp and 2 MACKIE CR4 speakers.
What connections and how many do I need to make?
I have 3 cables that came with the speakers (it seems there is an active speaker and a passive speaker):
- an RCA cable
- a jack cable
- a speaker cable.. (I've tried to find the correct names...).
Please let me know if I need to make 3 connections, 2...
Should I connect the two speakers together using the speaker cable??
In short, if you could tell me how to do it...
Is it very easy to connect the two speakers together?

    Hello and welcome to this forum,

    The two speakers must be connected with a red and black wire, one side on the active speaker at the "output to passive speaker" terminal and the other on the "passive speaker input" terminal of the passive speaker.
    "Connecting the two speakers together is very easy..."
    Yes, just press the red terminal then the black, insert the wire, and release.

    RCA cable with red and white plugs between the turntable and the "RCA unbalanced" of the active speaker.

    The volume is adjusted with the knob on the front of the active speaker.
