bazfile, yes I signed up on a site for cooking recipes, but they keep sending me ads, I can't log into the site to find the unsubscribe option. On my phone, it also tells me that it has been sent to the background. Thank you for the attention you paid to my message.

but he keeps sending me ads

Are they ads that appear in the bottom right corner of your computer screen, or are they ads sent by email?
        What is your internet browser?
        What is this recipe site?

For emails, there’s nothing else to do but unsubscribe via the link in the email.

For the notifications on the right side of the PC:
Open Chrome, click on the three dots in the top right corner, then Settings==>Privacy and security==>Site settings==>Notifications, you can remove the sites that send you these notifications by clicking on the three dots next to the names of those sites.
Click on the images to enlarge them.
