After updating Windows to version 2004, I reinstalled the program using the manufacturer's CD (in Windows 8 compatibility mode)

The good thing is that the adapter's indicator light is on and when I connect the adapter to an external screen, there is a signal, but nothing shows up.

What is notable is that above the icon for my internal graphics card (Intel HD4600), I have a small yellow triangle (code 43). I updated the graphics card driver, but the triangle did not go away.

With graphics cards nowadays, since HDMI is often used, an audio driver is added to allow sound to pass through HDMI.
