Hello,
I would like to transfer the directory from my old Gigaset C430A fixed phone to my new device, which is exactly the same model.
I’ve seen that I need to register the phone on the base... But how do I proceed? Additionally, should I register the new one on the base of the old one or the old one on the base of the new one... And how do I do that?

Hello,
The handsets C430 and C430A are identical.
In order to transfer a directory from a C430 handset to a C430A handset, both handsets must be "registered" on the same base.
To register your old handset on the new C430A base, see the manual on page 39 (41 of the PDF below): "Registering handsets"
Then you will need to follow the directory transfer procedure.
See "Transferring the entire directory" manual page 44 (46 of the PDF)
Please note that you must copy from the handset that contains the directory, not the other way around.
