Why can't I see my friends' birthdays on Facebook anymore?

Hello,
I’ve been having a little issue for a few days; the birthdays on my Facebook have disappeared...
My app is up to date, and when I click on the calendar, I only see events in my city but no birthdays. When I log on to my computer, I don’t have any birthdays displayed on the calendar.
I’ve checked my notifications, and everything is checked.

I just found it!
- Go to Facebook settings
- Then to "notification settings"
- And in "Birthdays"
- Then enable the option "receive a notification for upcoming birthdays"
And there you go ^^

I had the same problem.
You can only change the setting on a computer. I looked for it in the app, but to no avail.
So log in on a computer, then "Settings", "Notifications", then in the "Birthdays" section, check that push notifications are enabled, and then switch the upcoming birthday notifications to "yes" (for me it was checked to "no" even though I hadn’t changed this setting).
And there you go.

Same for me. Furthermore, Facebook has disabled my husband's account for no valid reason. I think there is a serious problem at Facebook. When we wanted to write to them, they said that due to COVID, they are unable to address the issue. However, to disable his account, that happened all by itself.
Hello, I actually have the same problem. For several weeks now, I would say, no more list on Facebook to see the birthdays.. And when we click on "events," it shows us events happening around us. A bit annoying..

I have the same thing.. For several months. Except that before I used to type birthdays in the Facebook search bar, I was able to see them. But since yesterday, I can’t see anything anymore.
Yet everything is activated too..
The only solution I found is to press the magnifying glass to search and enter birthday... it appears. But indeed, impossible to find otherwise... for the moment... what has Facebook done about it?

just go to the search bar and type "birthday" this page will give you the birthday dates of your friends and on the day you can post a small message on their wall
Download Birthday Calendar and you'll have all your birthdays, those of your contacts, and those from FB.

I'm not receiving them either, and when I go to my settings, the options to check yes or no for upcoming birthday settings and overdue birthdays have disappeared.
