Hello,

error code 0X8078014B
an error occurred while creating a directory in the backup storage location.
This seems to happen when creating an image at around 30% of the full backup.
Thank you for your help.

    What is the destination?
    Is it a network path?
    An external hard drive?

    Is the drive letter configured in the backup accessible?

      Hello,

      The destination is an external hard drive, which has the letter E, with 500 GB half full, so backup from the internal drive to the external drive.
      No specific antivirus, except Windows Defender.
      Copy backups are not causing any problems.
      It has been working for years, but I just updated from Windows 10 v 1909.
      I have run scannow and chkdsk.
      Thank you for your help.

      Go to Event Viewer and check if you have any errors related to logon:
      Press Windows + R
      type eventvwr.msc

      Expand Application and Service Logs
      Microsoft
      Windows
      WindowsBackup
      If you have any related errors, please provide a screenshot

      After that, it may just be a matter of stopping and restarting the backup or deleting and reconfiguring it.

      No errors in Windows Backup Action Center, just information, event 100 or 101

      Chinese to me.
