Asus Maximus VI Hero motherboard won't start anymore

Hello,
As a student, I bought a second-hand computer with the configuration of an Asus Maximus VI Hero motherboard, Intel i7, and 16GB of DDR3 RAM.
When I tried to add an SSD, the computer stopped working.
Now, when the power supply is on and I press the power button, the fans spin for 1 second and then stop. If I press the power button, nothing happens, but if I turn off the power supply, turn it back on, and then press the power button, the fans spin for a second and then stop again.
If you could help me, I would be extremely grateful.

Even changing the SATA connector, or with nothing connected to the SATA, it still doesn't work. -

I think there was originally a hard drive with an operating system, right?
And the PC was working?
