Hello, I have a question that I haven't been able to resolve for a while. I'm using BiglyBT (a torrent client) and I can download quite fast, but my upload speed is almost nil (max 300 KB/sec) with peaks at 5 MB/sec (wow) but very brief.
I'm on Free fiber with a Freebox Delta, running Win10 64 bit on a recent and powerful PC.
32 GB of RAM
a Ryzen 3 processor at 3.5 GHz
a Samsung SSD in M2
PS: Ask me if I forgot any essential information for the answer.
I tried disabling the antivirus, the Windows firewall, routing a specific port.
I even switched to a fixed full-stack IPv4 after trying several settings in the software and on Freebox OS.
I want to point out that I keep my updates current (Windows, BiglyBT, antivirus, etc.).
I noticed that the torrent health status indicator randomly changes from dark blue to light blue to green.
All the software tests are good except when I go through the configuration assistant.
The speed test from mlab gives me very random results.
Sometimes it can't reach the server, other times it runs a test that's not too bad but not up to the level of my connection. I get much better results on Speedtest on the web. I can understand some divergence, but not that much.
I'm not a novice in P2P, but I'm really stuck here. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me solve this problem.

Yes, I know there are different methods to improve your ratio. I've come across plenty of different forums over the past month and a half or two months while trying to solve my problem. The ratio is just the final goal; I would like to understand why clients don't download quickly from me and why I feel like they disconnect quickly. I've tried adjusting everything in uTorrent, in the box management console. I've also tried restarting the box in factory mode and resetting the preferences in uTorrent. I even tried with another computer. So the problem definitely seems to be with the Free line or at least the box settings. But I don't see at what level.
Hello,
the concept of peer to peer is that your download speed depends on the amount and the upload of the people who are sharing; depending on what you are downloading, it might not go up much. Otherwise, I don't know, try another client; personally, I use Deluge.

Hello Jumulka, thanks for your response. But as I mentioned, I've known the principle of P2P for a long time. I practice the ratio of DL and UL. I've tried to download files that had more leechers than seeders, and I've shared quite a few. But since I installed fiber, I've had a huge upload problem. At first, my ports were closed, so I routed the ports and checked the exception in the firewall. But it didn't improve, even though now my ports are wide open, which is the basic requirement. Yet there still seems to be a communication problem between the client and other seeders; I often get messages saying that I have no incoming connection. The error is never the same, which complicates the diagnosis. I will try another client to see, although I initially tried Vuze and it was the same since they are almost similar. Thanks, I’ll keep you updated.
u_u indeed I didn't catch that you were talking about uploading... (even though you insisted on it xD)
you can also try a vpn, or pass the connections through tor (in the client proxy settings > socksv5 > 127.0.0.1 > port 9150, tor needs to be open), but sometimes the connection isn't great through tor

Well, I tested it with another computer connected to Wi-Fi this time and it's the same, in 20 days I have barely reached a ratio of 2.6... I strongly believe that the problem comes from the Freebox Delta. I was on Freebox Revolution for years on ADSL and I had a better upload rate, then on Livebox V4 fiber everything was fine, and since I've had the Delta, nothing is progressing. It's a shame because I have clients connected at my place but nothing is moving in my queue...
