Hello, I wanted to watch a movie on Apple TV from my iMac, but it's showing me this (see the attached photo) and even when I log in, it keeps asking me the same thing.

However, Apple TV works fine on my iPad.

I can't find a solution to the problem, thank you for your help.

Unfortunately, I authorized it but there seems to be a blockage and I'm stuck.

A clue then...: in the case where you are not the original purchaser of this movie, the credentials needed to authorize the Mac must be those of the original buyer of the film... not yours. In short, Jacques buys a movie and passes it to Jean; it is Jacques who must authorize Jean's Mac to play this movie...

It's me, but I've been having this issue since a factory reset.

However, in some downloads, my old email address appears, which hasn't existed since 2015.

I am talking about the general aspect even with movies and series purchased with my current email.

I just tried to buy a movie, same situation so I conclude that the problem comes from Apple TV.

Even resetting on the library, the problem persists and on top of that I receive this.

This does not solve my problem because I cannot see my account except on my MacBook Pro, which has no issues. I can use it as a TV even though I have no documents in my folders, and we can watch movies without downloading them; I don't understand.

    My iMac is from 2015.

I just entered my credentials on my mother's computer and everything works with a requested code, but on my own computer none of that happens, what's going on? I don't understand.

I am with an Apple advisor, even he finds it strange, because he asked me to use another account, so I took my mother's and it works normally.

Well then... even if Apple doesn't understand it... I'm passing...

I resolved to take radical action, resetting everything to zero so that my computer would be like new, and it works again; it was the price to pay. Now I will have to update all my documents and everything because of one application. Thank you for taking the time to help me; I am closing this issue.
