In the tools menu and with the Add header or footer function, you can enter a page number or a date... or a text 'in this case the name of your file...

But if you want it to be outside the document itself and not in the document, you need to increase the page area and check the option at the time of printing only...

Another possibility, but it depends on what you want to do, is to modify the page areas.

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to respond, but it's not exactly what I'm looking for. Regarding the creation of the footer, I can manage that; what I need is a "formula" that directly increments the document name without me having to write it (since I have over 100 PDFs to make), kind of like what can be done with the page number.

It cannot be an increment if each file is different... To add the name, you will have to open it in order to add it... and it won't happen automatically...

Eventually, by writing a modification program and placing the inscription in the desired location... but you have to enter the PDF file's code, and to read it, it would need to be in ASCII, which is not easy for recent PDF files!! A RIP should also be able to do this...

Personally, I would go for the quickest option that would waste the least amount of time... Doing what you want on 100 files shouldn't take you more than 15 to 20 minutes with Acrobat... much less than thinking about and testing a script that has little chance of working...

Now, if you want it to be outside the page format at the bottom of it, that's possible with a printer in PDF... which is not too bothersome except that if you want to print this information, it won't be printed unless you adjust the scale for the paper.
