Hello,
For some time now, my "delete" key on the numeric keypad hasn't been working, and I can no longer use it to create a decimal point.
I thought it was the keyboard, but that's not the case as it works on another PC.
I tested another keyboard on my PC, same issue, the decimal point doesn't work.
However, using the same key for the delete function works, but not for the decimal point.
The numbers and the rest of the keyboard work perfectly fine, just this decimal point...
It must be a software issue; I tried uninstalling the device driver and then reconnecting the keyboard, but that didn't change anything.
My keyboard is a Corsair K70 MK2 Rapidfire, although I had the same issue with another keyboard.
I haven't found anyone else with the same problem in my research, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Update: I tried to bring up the on-screen keyboard in Windows 10 and when I press the period key on the numeric keypad... same thing, nothing happens!
The problem is definitely software-related and not with the keyboard driver...

Hello
A Delete key on the numeric keypad???
It's probably related to the regional settings configuration; you should check that (depending on your version of Windows). Or if your computer has a keyboard configuration utility.
your keyboard has a specific driver/utility HERE.
best regards

As we learn every day, the numeric keypad's point key indeed acts as a point and delete...
I didn't mention it, but I'm on Windows 10, so I can look into that.
As for the driver, I already have the latest version updated, but it shouldn't be coming from there since it did the same thing with another keyboard.
