Hello,
for some time now, when I open an Excel file by double-clicking, two windows open—one with the file and the other one empty. This issue does not occur when I open the same file on another PC.
If I open this file from within Excel, everything is normal. The problem is the same for all Excel files.
My configuration: W7 and Office 2013.
Thank you in advance for your suggestions!

Hello everyone, I found the solution!
Since the problem only appeared on one PC, I compared the Excel options between two PCs running the same Office, and I found this difference in the add-ins. Path in Excel open, file, options, add-ins: "Office Telemetry Dashboard Add-in."
In the location, there is this file "msotdaddin.dll." I deleted it in Explorer and hooo miracle, the problem disappeared. I hope this can help others with the same issue! -
Try to open with a simple click.
