When I call one of my contacts on their iPhone 5s, whether from a landline or my iPhone, it no longer triggers the ringtone on their device for them to answer the call but immediately goes to their voicemail. What can be done to restore the normal functioning of their phone?

    Hello,

    Check that airplane mode and Do Not Disturb are not activated. If so, try disabling the Silence Unknown Callers and Call Forwarding options if they are enabled.
