How to connect 2 RJ45 without a F/F coupler

Hello,
I know about the female/female coupler to connect two RJ45 cables, but in my case, I don't have an RJ45 connector as the two wires are completely stripped. What should I do?

A small difficulty is that I have a cat6 cable and the other is cat5.

    Hello,

    You don't connect the wires of 2 Ethernet cables directly. So you need to put a male connector on each cable and then a female/female coupler.

    That's for stranded wires; for solid wires, you should use female connectors and a male/male Ethernet cable between the two.

      You can see a housing here: https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B00606LR8M/ref=dp_prsubs_1, but since it is a connector that resembles female jacks, it would probably be for single strand.

        The 2 cables carry the same electrical signals from Ethernet, there is no conversion. The type of cable only matters for it; it is better or worse in terms of interference or noise or length.
