Hello,

I bought this cordless phone with 3 handsets and I'm facing the following problem: when I dial a phone number and the person on the other end asks me to press buttons 1, 2, or 3, etc., to get the requested service, there must be a way to do this, but I don't know how.
If someone can help me, I thank them in advance.
Best regards.

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 76.0.3809.100

    Hello,
Normally, there’s nothing special to do. You just need to press the key (1, 2, or 3 or others) when prompted.
What is your device connected to? (Box, or others)

      Good evening,
I am connected to a telephone socket, I am with Orange.
I press the button but nothing happens.
Thank you and I wish you a good evening.

Do you pay for two subscriptions? One for the phone and one for the internet?

      OK
I invite you to ask the question to Orange at 3900
I read somewhere that some phones need to press * (star) before dialing the number, but I admit that it seems curious to me...
I will see if I find something on this topic.

Thank you for your advice, I will call Orange tomorrow because the communications I have made using this method were done with my mobile and it's starting to cost me a lot.
Thank you for taking the time to help me.

Do you have any problem calling a correspondent?
When you dial a number, do you hear some music notes?

    Try asking the technical service
    contact TECHNICAL SUPPORT
    (tel: 05-45-60-82-51 local call rate)
This number was extracted from the manual on page 13
    The manual: https://docplayer.fr/73906150-Telefunken-tb-250-peps-tb-251-tb-252-tb-253-guide-de-demarrage-rapide-quick-start-guide-kurzanleitung-guia-de-inicio-rapido.html

If this phone is new, I invite you to contact your seller and return to customer service if necessary.

I just found a setting that, if not on Vocal Frequencies could explain the problem.
But in my opinion, you would not be able to make calls with this type of setting
Excerpt from the manual of an equivalent (TB251)

The setting must be strictly on "Vocal Freq."

      Hi,
I remember there used to be an option on PABXs, it seems to me, but it's vague, that allowed blocking dialing while on a call, an option that is of course incompatible with all the IVRs (interactive voice response systems) we encounter today.
But well, if changing the handset fixed the issue, then it’s not related to the settings of the Orange switchboard, or else it's something really sneaky.

    Good evening Baladur13,
I wanted to thank you once again for all your advice and the time you gave me. I tried to do your last manipulation but to no avail.
This afternoon I went to the phone seller with my receipt from 07/29/2019, he tested that infamous defective Telefunken, I switched brands and IT WORKS.
    Thanks again for everything.

      OK...
      Thank you for the feedback...
You're now ready to "talk" with interactive voice servers....
