Snapchat: I would like to turn off the camera sound.

Hello, I have an iPhone 7 Plus and I'm having the same problem as you; it's really annoying. But I have a tip to avoid hearing that noise when we take a photo on snap: you just need to hold down the white circle that lets you take a picture a little longer than usual and let go just before a video starts recording. You'll see, it's just a matter of getting used to it!

(Response to mute sound on camera)
Settings -> General -> Accessibility -> AssistiveTouch -> Turn on AssistiveTouch. A transparent gray button will appear allowing you to adjust several functions. - Click on the button, the AssistiveTouch menu will appear, then go to Home and then to Device. You can now mute the sound.

If it exists, it's in settings -> all the way at the bottom, click on Snapchat and there you can adjust the options.

I have partly found the solution, I also have the problem on my refurbished phone, partly because this is only valid on Snapchat.

On Snap, when you take your photo, you need to hold your finger down a little longer just before it turns into a video.

Is this sound present only on Snapchat or also on the iPhone's camera?

I don't have an "iPhone," but don't you have an option to manage the sound of applications?
On other smartphones, we have this option.

On Android, Snap does nothing, so on iPhone there's probably an option hidden somewhere with them...
