Hello,
My television is not showing images on all channels, only one message appears: "the video format is not supported", except on channel 3 where I have sound, but not always images. I have the original remote control.
If anyone knows what to do to get the images to display, could you please help me?
Thank you for all your responses.

Hello,
This means that this TV does not have a tuner compatible with the new Mpeg4 standard, in effect since April 2016, the sound from channel 3 works since it is the only channel to have an analog stereo sound.
You will therefore need to get a HD terrestrial receiver (available everywhere from €20) and don't forget an HDMI cable.

Thank you for your response, but aren't flat screens equipped with built-in tuners?

Yes, but MPEG 2 tuners, which are no longer compatible with the new MPEG 4 standard, for confirmation, please provide us with the full reference of this TV.

Thank you for stopping to ask the same question multiple times.
What is the full reference of this TV?

If it is true that the flat screen has a built-in TNT, how can I still buy another external TNT?

You do not answer my question regarding the reference ...
You seem not to understand despite my previous explanations, so I will repeat:
Your TV has a built-in TNT tuner conforming to the <mpeg 2 standard and we have switched to Mpeg 4, external HD TNT adapters are available everywhere starting from €20 and don't forget an HDMI cable to connect it to the TV.

Thank you for your responses. Since I don't have its manual, I can't find the full reference for the TV. If you know what I can do to retrieve its complete reference, could you please help me with the explanations?

On the nameplate at the back, it's for confirmation because my first response still stands:

Thank you, here is what I find on the nameplate: TV WALTHAM. Model WL 168 12V.
There are also 2 barcodes with 3 series of numbers, should I provide those as well?

You need to forget something in the reference because after WL there is a number representing the screen size in inches, the rest, the barcodes, I don't care

You must be right, I think it's 16B and not 168.
It's the letter B that I confused with the number 8.
Because it's a very small screen that can be 16 inches.

OK, this TV is from 2011 and therefore does not have, as I suspected, an Mpeg 4 tuner but Mpeg 2, no other solution than this:

Anyway, thank you very much for your kindness and courtesy, you really helped me. Will it be useful if I send it to Africa?

You're welcome.
It all depends: which country in Africa? What type of TV broadcasting system, analog? digital? Which broadcasting standard?
Given the value of this TV and the shipping cost, I doubt it's worth it; it would be better to buy a new one locally.
