    Hello,

There is no reason why you shouldn't be able to enter data in a merged cell group. Can we see the document?

    Hello,

Before removing the protection after downloading, I noticed that the file is in read mode. It needs to be switched to page mode; see the icons at the bottom and to the right or the View / Page tab before you can write anything.

    Best regards

        Hello,

As for droc, it would be preferable to attach the contentious file following what I wrote in my message #5

The solution can be found here: https://www.it-connect.fr/word-2016-impossible-decrire-dans-une-cellule-fusionnee/

I have been getting frustrated for 3 days, but as is often the case, the problem comes from a Microsoft update. Therefore, it needs to be uninstalled manually.

Ah!! So it was about Office 2016, no wonder I don't understand, I'm personally on 2013 and my crystal ball is broken :)

If droc is in this case, you just gave him the solution to the problem (thanks to you for all the users of the 2016 suite) and he just needs to go back to the top of this discussion and close the topic either by clicking on resolved if he can or by clicking on report and then clicking on question resolved in the window that opens.

    Best regards

    Hello,
In fact, it was indeed a bug due to a Microsoft update. It has been removed and everything is back to normal.
Thanks to everyone who participated in this discussion.
