Asus laptop won't start anymore. Solved/Closed

Hello,
My Asus laptop that I bought 6 months ago won't turn on.
The battery is built-in, so I can't remove it; I've done the manipulation of pressing the power button for 30 seconds and the result is nothing, no fan noise as if it were dead. The only thing is that there's this bulb-shaped light that keeps blinking.
If anyone has a solution, I would appreciate it before I take it to customer service.

The goal is to wake it up and then see what the issue is.

It might be a lot of effort for nothing, but it just takes one manipulation to hit the right one.

So:

charger plugged in.
To try to wake it up, hold the power button down for more than a minute (even 2 to be sure).

I don't really see a solution.

If the battery were removable, we would have taken it out, and if the problem were sleep mode, it would have come out.

But here we can't, otherwise, no more warranty.

So I think we need to see their customer service.
Or leave it without a charger, let the battery drain and it shut down, then recharge it.
But the battery might not like that too much.

And for customer service, there's a chance they'll reinstall everything and lose your data.
Talk to them if you go and tell them to try not to delete everything if they can.

I just encountered exactly this problem on an ASUS R541U, a laptop that wouldn’t turn on, with the power indicator (light bulb icon) flashing and the power supply indicator (battery icon with a lightning bolt) not responding when plugging in the power. It must be a deep sleep mode that completely freezes the computer; it’s impossible to restart it even by holding down the power button for 1 or 2 minutes.

Since the battery is not removable, it cannot be taken out, so it needs to be drained for the laptop to fully power off. The advantage is that, since it’s a sleep mode, the USB ports are still powered, so by plugging in one or more power-consuming devices (I connected a phone and a USB-rechargeable bike light), it speeds up the battery drainage. I don’t know the battery's charge level, but I drained it in about 4 hours.

Once the battery is completely drained, you can plug the power back in and turn the laptop on, and there, miracle: it works again!
