Add the audio tracks of one video to another video

Hello,

As you probably know, some software like VLC Media Player allows you to add subtitle files, I would like to know if it is possible, in the same way, to extract an audio track from a video to put it on another one? (Without using editing software).

Actually, I am currently watching a series, but I prefer the French version and HD. I found these two versions of my series:
- one in French 360p (which I find to be bad quality)
- one in 1080p with French subtitles (which does not have a French version)

So I would like to extract the VF audio track from the first and integrate it into the second which is in HD.

If there is no way to do this without editing, do you know how to edit a video with multiple video, audio, and subtitle tracks? So as not to lose the languages and subtitles that are already present.

Hello

With Avidemux (free), you can save video 1 without the sound, you can save only the sound from video 2 (just like Audacity), and finally, you can paste the sound from video 2 onto video 1.

Be careful of the misalignment, which you can adjust later... it's a lot of work.

I see, thanks, but the editing software is just simplified; it doesn't change the fact that I still have to import, edit, and export the videos...
No problem, I'll do it during the editing, thanks anyway.
