Hello,
I bought tickets for Tomorrowland 2017 on Viagogo on February 25th without thinking too much.
After multiple searches and conflicting opinions, I'm in a panic!!!!!!!!
- According to Viagogo, you can access the festival even with a ticket that is not in your name, and in case of problems, they will replace the ticket or refund you (source: "Viagogo guarantee" on their website).
- At the entrance of the festival, we are asked to present our passport with our ticket in order to collect our wristbands (which implies that each ticket is nominative).
I am supposed to receive the tickets in PDF in July.. Will they be in my name? Certainly not, as I "bought" them from someone. Viagogo was a platform, I will never be in contact with that person.
What should I do? Because I can't afford to wait in doubt until a few days before the festival.
Thank you in advance.

I bought 1-day tickets for the Tomorrowland festival on 20/07/18 through the viagogo site. Aside from the price, I had no issues (for my part) during the checkout process for exchanging the E-ticket.
No need to stay in doubt: You were indeed conned!

Hello,
I have received the e-tickets, and I hope you have too. Indeed, it's not my name that is written, but RFM with a number.
Fortunately, everything is well explained on the e-ticket, how to get your wristband, the different steps to follow, ...
so I continue to believe in it... still keeping my fingers crossed, we’ll see next Friday if it works out...

Hi,
The principle is that tickets are nominative and non-transferable.
See: The general terms and conditions of sale: https://www.tomorrowland.com/en/festival/tickets/general-terms
This year even more so, since the police have conducted "screenings" of individuals going to the festival in order to limit risks. As a result, the identity verification process is very strict. ;-)
Therefore, they can (and must, in principle from a legal standpoint) refuse access to anyone whose name on the ticket does not match their ID/passport.

Hello, I’m in the same situation as you. I’m a bit panicking given the ticket price.
I haven’t received anything for the date of 07/27 yet... Have you received anything on your side?
Thank you for your response.

Hello, given the reviews on Viagogo, it’s not surprising https://fr.trustpilot.com/review/www.viagogo.fr trust score 38% https://fr.scamdoc.com/view/1064
Despite the negative reviews, I took the risk and was thrilled with the result! Everything worked wonderfully. Tickets were more expensive, but I already knew that. Received a few weeks before the event and I picked up the wristband at the counter in just a few minutes! Amazing weekend!! I admit that all the negative comments scared me, and I was stressed until I got to the counter, but it was worth it! In any case, thanks to viagogo! TML WE 2 magnificent greens
