Safari can't establish a secure connection to the server... Solved

Question

Hello,
I am encountering the same problem that others have already faced some time ago.
Currently on my "admin" page, I can no longer access certain websites... However, I do not have parental controls activated on my admin account. I don't understand where the issue is, and it's the first time I've experienced this in 5 years.
Moreover, on the accounts where I have installed parental controls, I removed "attempt to limit access to adult websites" and since then, I can connect to all websites. So I really don't understand anything anymore.

I installed an Airport Time Capsule, but I don't think this is the reason since the other accounts work as they should.

If anyone can help me???

Hello,

You can try this: reset Safari's preferences to their default state.
To do this, follow these steps:

Quit Safari
Select Finder by clicking on the desktop
Click on the "Go" menu
Press the Alt key: the "Library" option will appear in the Go menu list.
Choose "Library"
Open the "Preferences" folder
Move the "com.apple.Safari.plist" file to the desktop
Start Safari and check if your problem is resolved or not.

Aside from a few modules that you have activated and I don't (Adobe Flash Player, Adobe Reader, and Java), we have the same configuration for Safari.

Question 1:
If you create a new admin user on this Mac, does it have this issue?

Question 2:
What exactly is the error message you receive when you can't connect to a website and if possible which website is it?

Question 3:
In Safari -> Preferences -> Extensions: are there any items?
If so, disable them.
Do the sites that weren't working start working again?

Question 4:
In Safari -> Preferences -> Privacy: for the "Cookies and website data" option, check the choice "Allow only from websites I visit" or even "Always allow".
