Hello,
when starting my Mac version Sierra 10.12.2, a window opens indicating "Keychain not found" Unable to find a keychain; in the window, there is a closed padlock with a Safari icon on it; then there is a box for "Cancel" or "Restore defaults". I've tried everything! This window always opens! My question is how can I solve this problem? Thank you in advance for your response!

I think you didn't quite understand, when you go to the Apple menu and click on "System Preferences," you get this window:

You click on the highlighted box, and you get to this window:

You select your account, click on "open," and you'll see the list; let me know what you see.

To modify something, click on the padlock if it's closed and enter your administrator password to unlock it.
If you see anything relating to your problem in the list, select it and click the = (minus) sign at the bottom.
When you're done, click on the padlock to close it; you can also leave it open, but you won't be protected from an error that could change the account preferences.

Hello,

Try launching "Keychain Access" which is located in your Applications/Utilities folder and reset it. I'm not on Sierra, but I assume you'll find this function. Apparently, it's in the Keychain Access menu / Keychain First Aid.

Thank you for the response, but it doesn't change anything, the startup window reappears! I don't know what to do anymore.

Look in the Apple menu/System Preferences/Users & Groups/Login Options, what do you have in the list?

Good evening, I did what you told me and in the opening window I have no applications listed, the window is empty! Thank you again for this guidance. But I think I picked up a malware because I have an ad for a cleaning software for Mac that pops up with Safari!
