Formula for sending feedback on an average or score? Solved

Hello everyone,  I'm looking for a formula that allows me to return an appreciation of a value (average or score) that is found, for example, in A1 and should be displayed in F16: In A1, there is the average or score which can vary from 0 to a maximum of 10, and in F16, I need to have one of the appreciations depending on the level of the average or score: Examples: 0 to 2.99 = "Very low", 3 to 3.99 = "low", 4 to 5.99 = "average", and so on... So each appreciation corresponds to a range of values for the average or score, and at any time the score can change, and I want the appreciation to change automatically as well. Hello, I tried the proposed formula and I got "#VALUE!" in F16.  I should specify that in A1 some of the average values in question are decimal numbers like 2.42.  Also, the value in A1 comes from another sheet in the same workbook where all the averages are calculated, and I copied the corresponding average to then "paste link" in A1.

Thank you, PHILOU10120  I'm limited in Excel, so I don't understand your formula; where are the limit numbers for each of the assessments?  If possible, I would like to have the complete formula explicitly which takes into account IF A1

You may not have properly continued the formula Try this, I added the case where A1 is empty as suggested by our friend PHILOU10120 =IF(A1="","",IF(A1<3,"low",IF(A1<4,"mediocre",IF(A1<6,"passable",IF(A1<7,"pretty good",IF(A1<0,"good","very good"))))))  Best regards
