Custom watermark across multiple pages

Hello everyone,

I would like to insert a custom watermark "ANNEXE" on a section of about ten pages in my Word document.
By inserting section breaks before and after the relevant part and unlinking the headers, I manage to insert one of the Word watermarks (CONFIDENTIAL, EXAMPLE...) on the annex pages only without any problems.
However, as soon as I insert a custom watermark from text, it appears on all pages of the document!! When trying to remove it from the other headers, it gets deleted from the whole document as well!

Does anyone have a solution to this problem, please?

Hello,

The watermark is actually just an image insertion in the header. To solve your problem, I will explain in more detail here:

Thank you for your response, Marina!
I was already familiar with the concept of watermarks and have no problem inserting predefined watermarks (on the first page or elsewhere).
The difficulty I have is inserting a custom watermark from a text (Text as watermark) on any page. :)

I'm using Word 2010 by the way.

It's explained on my page.
A watermark text is just an image. Since you know how to insert it on a single page (that's the problem in general), I don't see what the issue is.
Regarding your version, I explain on my site for all versions.

At my place, the watermarked text behaves differently from other watermarks! Even following your tutorial (adding sections-unlinking the sections-inserting the watermark-deleting in other sections), I can't manage it!
It displays everywhere or nowhere (regardless of the sections).

Hello!
I have the same issue, all the tips I've read with section breaks work very well with the "draft" watermark but as soon as I customize it, it appears on all pages of the document.

Hello Julie,

this is indeed an anomaly with this feature.
If you have properly unlinked your sections, go to the header of the one for which you do not want the watermark, select it, and delete it.
