Freebox hard drive not visible in my file explorer

Hello everyone, I've changed my PC about 2 weeks ago, so I've switched from Windows 7 to Windows 10, and I've noticed that I no longer see FREEBOX in the left column of the file explorer. This is annoying since I'm used to dragging movies and music directly into it. How can I get it back?

  Hello,
  
  For my part, the procedure is not quite the same:
  
  1) click on the "file explorer" icon
  
  2) then right-click on "network" (at the bottom left)
  
  3) connect a network drive
  
  4) choose a letter for this drive "for example: Z"
  
  5) in folder type: \\FREEBOX_SERVER\Hard drive
  
  6) check the boxes: reconnect at logon and connect using different credentials
  
  7) when prompted, type freebox then your password (the one used on the page mafreebox.freebox.fr)
  
  8) Remember the credentials
  
  9) Then OK

Good evening

You need to go to File Explorer, click on This PC, and at the top add a network location "\\freebox\disque dur" and check the network lower down in File Explorer to see if it appears!

  Thank you for this quick response but it's not working. I copied and pasted \\freebox\hard drive when it asked me for the location name and it says "The folder you entered does not seem to be valid. Please choose another one."

Hello

To connect your Freebox and view the Freebox hard drive as a drive on your PC, such as partition C or D:

1) Click on the "File Explorer" icon

2) Then right-click on "Network" ( at the bottom left)

3) Connect to a network drive

4) Choose a letter for this drive, "for example: Z"

5) In the folder field, type: \\FREEBOX\Hard drive

6) Check the box: reconnect at sign-in

7) Confirm with OK

Check in "File Explorer"; you will find your Freebox hard drive and all its folders above "Network".

I restarted the Freebox and the PC and it’s still the same thing.

  Go to network ---> freebox server ---> freebox settings ---> advanced mode ---> windows sharing ---> UNCHECK enable file sharing AND ok ---> redo windows sharing ---> CHECK enable file sharing AND ok
  check if it works
  One important thing your network must be private and not public

So I did it, it didn't change anything. However, I touched a few things in Network and Sharing Center and found this on this PC

So I have access to the hard drive but I don't understand why it doesn't appear in the left column under Network...

When I double click on Freebox server, it takes me here:

When I double click on Freebox player, it opens this window

And the Freebox player opens Windows Media Player...

    Your disk is integrated into your Freebox, right?
    If not, restart your Freebox and your PC and see if you have access after this reboot.
