Hello,

I can't find the tv on/off option in the settings of my iPad, even once the HDMI cable is connected to the TV that doesn't recognize anything.
Is there a solution? Thank you

Configuration: iPad / Safari 9.0

Hello
Hoping that you have an iPad 2,
you connect the 30-pin Digital AV Adapter to your iPad, then connect an HDMI cable to your television
-
this cable costs around €40

Thank you for your quick response.
That's what I've already done but it doesn't work.
The TV is not receiving any signal and my iPad tells me it doesn't recognize the device despite the correct connections... (I am of course selecting the correct TV source to which the cable is connected)
I'm afraid my iPad may not be compatible, I think it's the iPad 3, though I'm not sure...

Hello, when an iPad detects a connection that allows it to transfer its image to a screen, simply swipe your finger from the bottom of the screen upwards to bring up the Control Center menu, and the option to transfer the image to the TV should appear.
If that doesn't work, it means your wired connection is not detected by the iPad, either due to an incompatible cable/adapter; this happens if the cable/adapter is not Apple-branded but from another brand. With device updates, some non-original cables no longer work.
