Can my friends see my activity in a public group?

Hello everyone,
I am part of a Facebook group that is public, you don’t need to be a member to see the posts. But I wanted to know if when I post a message or a publication there, it might show up in my friends' news feed?
Because I’ve seen posts from friends of mine in groups I wasn't part of on my news feed, I think..
So here’s my question, do my friends see my activity in this group in their feed (also if I like a post from the group)? And if so, is there a way to prevent that?

EDIT: I am specifically talking about a public group, and my question is not whether my friends can go to the group page and see the posts, I know that’s possible. My question is whether my messages/comments/likes in the group can appear in their news feed and if there is a way to prevent that :)
