Switch back to AZERTY keyboard instead of QWERTY on iPad

Hello,

despite 3 hours of researching and reading this forum, I can't find the answer even though tons of topics have been opened on this subject. :((((
I have an iPad Air 2 and a Logitech Ultrathin mini keyboard connected via Bluetooth.
The keyboard has unexpectedly switched from AZERTY to QWERTY, and there's no way to revert it back to AZERTY either on the tablet in touch mode or on the connected keyboard.

I tried Shift+2, through keyboard settings, Alt+Cmd+2, or +4....

Nothing works; it remains in QWERTY.

What can I do to return to the original AZERTY situation?

Thank you for your help

Have a good day

Configuration: Mac OS X (10.11.3) / Safari 9.0.3

Hello,

for the external keyboard, I can't say for sure, but if this iPad is disconnected from the external keyboard, try to solve its specific issue in the usual way:

Hello,

thank you for your reply.

I had already tried but without disconnecting the keyboard..... by disconnecting both and repeating the process: it works..... even with the keyboard connected again afterwards.....

thank you very much.

have a nice evening

Good evening, I had the same problem that occurred without me knowing why and how. Thank you for the comment, I had to additionally confirm the LANGUAGE of the iPad for French... the language specified in SETTINGS was FRENCH but that wasn't the case, I validated it for FRENCH and it works now... phew!
