Hello,
Hello,
I received all the membership documents for a complementary health insurance (name, first name, address, date of birth, phone, account number...) from a namesake who has exactly the same email address as mine. How is it possible for two addresses to be identical... Kudos for confidentiality!!!!
I am trying to contact this person and the insurance company. Impossible for now.
It's not up to me to change my address since I've had it for years. What should I do??? Thank you in advance for your response

Hello

she shouldn't have the same one as you, but an error has crept in somewhere.

Because of homonyms, it is always risky to provide your ISP address along with your name and surname since a mistake can easily happen (forgetting a "." or a hyphen).

Hello

this is your address, but not theirs.
There must be a mistake somewhere, a small difference.
The person who sent these documents made a mistake, that's all.

best regards

Hello,

I share the same opinion as others, two identical addresses are simply impossible.

The justification lies elsewhere -> shipment issues, email address probably not linked to the correct documents.

Sincerely

Yes, yes, it's exactly the same; I can see that since I received her insurance subscription documents.

Thank you for your responses. You are right. I just spoke to the person on the phone. She is trying to call her insurer without success. In fact, for her, the address is firstname.lastname@wanadoo.fr. For me, it's lastfirstname@gmail.com without a dot. (that's the address listed on the document).
How did they get my address when I have never subscribed anything with them? I would really like to know. I have forwarded all the documents to my namesake.

On the part of the sender, it’s still quite something to transform wanadoo into gmail unless your email address appears in their database (for a reason that remains unknown).

I reiterate my distrust regarding the use of the main ISP address (often very simple) for various formalities: a secondary address (a bit more complex) avoids issues of homonymy.
