DVD Player and TV Connection Issue
Solved
Good evening,
I have an old Daewoo DTL-2930 television that I only use to watch DVDs (I never watch TV, no digital terrestrial).
I just acquired a new Sony DVD player - DVP-SR760H. I have a scart cable from the television connected to the DVD player: 3 plugs - red, yellow, white.
Everything is turned on, but they are functioning independently; there is nothing on the screen. What should I do?
Thank you for your help; the seller's advice did not yield any results.

Good evening,
You need to change the "Source" on the television.
Normally, on your TV remote, you will find a button labeled source, or otherwise an arrow that comes from the left and points into a rectangle.
Sometimes, depending on the model, you can also cycle through channels until you reach "AV" etc.

I'm terrible at French, but I own it!

If the images I found on the internet are correct, it's one of the buttons at the top of the remote, under the power and mute buttons; one of the four buttons is used to select the correct source.

It might also be that the SCART to RCA yellow, white, and red cable is wired the wrong way, but we'll see about that tomorrow... drinks!
